i'm about to try the program in a week or 2. Saw the other videos. Curious lang ako, were you able to do pull-ups before? How did you prepare for it? Did you buy their pull-up bar? Lastly, what about the diet part. It's so hard to follow the nutrition plan, esp. kung kulang yung resources.
Maximum 2-3 pull-ups lang ang nakakaya ko dati. Now I can do 15-18 pull-ups. We have this modified pull-up bar at home, gawa siya sa metal na tubo tapos sinabit lang namin sa hagdan.(pinoy na pinoy :P).
Regarding naman sa diet, I suggest na magbasa ka about sa macronutrients , protein/fat/carbs percentange na dapat kainin.I totally agree that p90x's nutrition plan is really hard to follow, that is why I looked for alternatives. I did low calorie diet >> didn't work, high protein low carb diet >> didn't work for me either. After a lot of googling and experiments I finally discovered leangains. leangains is working for me pero its a bit extreme. I suggest that you find a diet that works for you and stick with it ( though alam ko mahirap :P)
Regarding naman sa resources, ang mga protein shake is around 2300-2600 PHP which could last for 2 - 2.5 months.Ang budget ko naman per week is 400-500 Php para sa chicken breast. then 50 -60 pesos per day para sa ibang pagkain. I think if you do the math, mas mura pa din siya kumpara sa pagkain sa labas. medyo napapamahal lang ako ng 50-60 pesos per day kasi tamad ako magluto ng gulay :P.
